Name Origin |
Placodermi, a now-extinct class of armoured fish. |
Family |
Deep Savers |
Type |
Fish |
Stage |
Rookie |
Attribute |
Vaccine |
Height |
3'7" |
Personality |
Despite her often tough and hardened exterior, Placomon is a rough-and-tumble fun loving little land fish, and she's actually very easy to make friends with. She can be a little brutal sometimes in her words and her sense of humour, but she cares about those around her and likes to see them smile.
She's a fan of the 'tough love' school of teaching, generally helping others to beat their problems by 'kicking the crap out of them until they cheer up', as Perimon puts it. Surprisingly this tends to work quite well; she's nowhere near as cold as Velocimon and will strive to help everyone she possibly can.
|
Attacks |
- Depth Charge - Placomon releases a sphere of pressurized water from her mouth, which has enough power on impact to blow open doors or knock back larger Digimon.
- Armour Twister - Placomon spins rapidly on her tail and uses her heavily-armoured forearms to plough into her opponent. It can take her some time to re-orientate herself after this attack.
|
Trivia |
Despite the great strength in her arms, Placomon is very ungainly on land, often slowed to an ungraceful waddle. In times of need she can put on surprising speed, and she is a master of physical combat, using her tail to propel her around her enemies like a pinball. In the water she is both graceful and deadly, tucking in her arms to increase her speed and impact force.

Devonian Period, geological period in the Paleozoic era |
Family |
Deep Savers |
Type |
Sea Monster |
Stage |
Mega |
Attribute |

Height |
13'6" |
Personality |
Devonimon is wily and has a natural instinct for observation and ambush. She does have a love for action, but will wait for the right moment to make a move, and she has a sense of duty, and right and wrong, which guides her every action.
However she does have a tendency to let her emotions take control of her, and has a hot temper and a hard fist waiting for those who cross her. She's humble, even perhaps self-depricating, in her mindset, but she will not hesitate to do what she thinks is right, although once she's stuck on a particular, dengerous train of thought, it can be very difficult to snap her out of it.
|
Attacks |
- Hyper Crusher - Devonimon pulls her chain-mace in, wearing the skulls as gauntlets, and strikes the water beneath her. This creates two vast walls of water that blast opponents away, or if they're unlucky enough to be caught between them, crushing them with immense pressure on the return.
- Tidal Wraiths - Devonimon extends her chain-mace, and the water orbs within the skulls' mouths expand into watery entities that pursue and attack her enemies. They can shapeshift into complex forms, and morph their extremities into sharp blades, claws and other static weapons.
- Gyro Tsunami - Devonimon spins her chain-mace around rapidly, forming a circle of water, which she then flings forwards in a spiral to rip into her opponents.
|
Trivia |
Devonimon generally holds off on revealing her full power if she can, trying to rely on her chain-mace to bring down her enemies. The skulls are semi-sentient, able to pursue enemies and rescue each other of their own will. Devonimon is an expert swimmer and is able to keep herself upright with the littlest of movements from her tail.
